We have an advice for you if you're using LIDE 20 on Mac. You should click "cancel" when you are presented with "Delsg." option. That would uninstall the driver you've just installed. If you just click "cancel" at that stage, your driver will be installed correctly. You might have proceeded with this hardware installation while quickly clicking through dialogues.
Please be sure you have the appropriate restore point to revert back to, if you're installing any driver on Windows. To do this on Windows XP, click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore. On windows 7 just type in "restore" in the start menu search box. Name this restore point 'Before installing scanner driver'.
