Microsoft and Conexant have a long history of cooperation so your Conexant device will most likely be recognized by a Microsoft OS. Windows supports many PCI modems from this manufacturer using a generic data/fax driver which you get on a Windows distrubution by default. So in most cases your modem will be detected by Windows and the driver will be automaticlly installed.
