GeForce 5200 Drivers and Installation

Please read on if you want to resolve your GeForce 5200 issues. We'll provide you with the latest drivers and more.

Here you can download the latest drivers for your GeForce 5200:

Windows XP 32 bit
Windows XP 64 bit
Vista 32 bit
Vista 64 bit

One of the common errors during installation is not disabling the onboard VGA adapter you may have on your motherboard. It could interfere with the drivers and your stand alone card. You should also uninstall any nVIDIA drivers you have on the system. Those can also cause problems. If so far nothing helped you, you should visit BIOS and check if 'Assign IRQ to VGA' is 'Enabled'. Another thing to try is to remove all the non-essential cards you have in your computer until your card works.

If nVIDIA's driver won't work, please try the Windows default driver. Do this by removing the 'PCI bus' in Device Manager. The Windows will install it's drivers, but check for the yellow flag in Device Manager. If this works, you can try installing nVIDIA's driver.

Our forum is a great place to ask questions if nothing of the above helped.
