HP Envy 4520 printer series includes some of the most popular printer and scanner models across the U.S. That being said, HP regularly releases new driver updates for this model. You can update the HP Envy 4520 driver by following our step-by-step guide below.

In order to update the driver for the HP Envy 4520 printer, you will need to download the corresponding driver. The driver is available on this page, and you can get access by filling in Captcha and pressing Download at the bottom. 

This driver pack is compatible with the following operating systems: Windows 11 (x32/x64), Windows 10 (x32/x64), Windows 8.1 (x32/x64) Windows 8 (x32/x64), Windows 7 (x32/x64), Windows Vista (x32/x64), Windows XP (x32/x64), Mac OS, and Linux OS.

Keep in mind that Linux requires additional software which can be found on the HP developers’ page. The setup process is similar to the one on the Windows operating system, and the only thing there is to do is to run the Setup wizard you’ll find upon downloading the file. 

Once you download the file at the bottom of our page, find it in the Downloads folder and double-click it to trigger the extraction. When the folder is extracted in the background, you will automatically be sent to the Setup wizard. 

Next, you’ll be asked whether or not you’d like to install a couple of additional features, all of which you can click ‘No’ to, for now. All of these options can easily be modified once the software is installed properly.

The Setup itself will take around 5 minutes to complete. After the setup finishes, press Automatic Setup. This option will find your printer for you. The setup is then finished, and you may need to restart your device in order for the drivers to update.
