HP Graphics Driver

Having released hundreds of modern laptops and desktop options for their users, HP regularly releases new HP graphics drivers for all series. That being said, as HP does not have their own series of graphic cards, it is a bit more difficult to locate and download the necessary files. 

What this means is that, instead of creating their own GPU, HP works closely with major brands that are known for their graphics - such as AMD, nVIDIA, and Intel. To get the latest HP graphics driver, simply scroll to the bottom of this page, find and complete the Captcha verification, and download the files. The files will be in a zipped folder. Right-click on it to extract the files.

The extracted files, as you will notice, are all compatible solely with Windows (all exe files). This is due to the fact that HP has collaborated with Windows for decades, and all of their devices are compatible with this operating system. 

The folder will contain several new HP graphics driver files, each of which is dedicated to a specific GPU. If you’re not sure which brand name released the graphics card you’re currently using, open the Device Manager. You will be able to find your graphics card in the Display Adapters section. 

Once you see which GPU it is, right-click on the file (see screenshot), select the Update the driver option, and choose to update it manually. Locate the suitable file in the folder you previously downloaded, and replace the HP graphics driver.
