The Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3150 is an integrated graphics solution by Intel, primarily used in netbooks and small form factor desktops. Part of Intel’s GMA line, the GMA 3150 was designed to provide a balance between power efficiency and graphical capabilities for entry-level systems.
It is based on Intel’s Generation 3.5 architecture and is embedded in the Atom series of processors, such as the Atom N450, N455, D410, and D510. Due to its integration with the processor, the GMA 3150 consumes less power compared to discrete GPUs, making it an ideal choice for devices that prioritize battery life and compact designs over high-end graphical performance.
The GMA 3150 is equipped with a 400 MHz clock speed. As a result, this graphics processor is best suited for simple tasks such as web browsing, office applications, and casual gaming with older, less graphically intensive titles.
