HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 Drivers

Released in 2016, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One series boasts a variety of useful options, such as faxing, scanning, and many other features. Browse this page to find the necessary HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 drivers.

When it comes to driver compatibility, the files on this page are compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. In order to download the requested file, simply complete the Captcha at the bottom of the page and press the Download button to get the files.  

Once you download it, locate the file (usually in the Downloads folder). Right-click on the folder and press Unzip/Extract. When it is extracted, the folder will have separate folders for Windows and Mac. Linux requires a different setup, which is explained later on in the text. 

In the Windows folder, you’ll find the Universal HP OfficeJet driver. This driver version is compatible with the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 10, and Windows 11. As of 2022, HP discontinued the printer support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 versions. The setup is fairly easy, as this file is an executable file. Double-click it to start the Setup Wizard, and follow the instructions (which require occasional pressing of the ‘Next’ or ‘Yes’ buttons). 

Make sure that your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 is connected properly during the setup, otherwise, the software will not be able to recognize the printer. The setup takes around 5 minutes, and it’s recommended to restart the device upon finishing the setup.

Similarly, the Mac folder contains HP Easy Start, which is a software that finds and replaces printer drivers on Mac. It is compatible with all Mac OS versions (10.3 to 10.15, as well as Mac OS 11, 12, and 13). 

On the other hand, Linux users need to visit the developers’ page to download their official Linux printer tool. The page contains HP printer drivers for printer series, the only requirement is to choose the corresponding Linux OS version from the drop-down menu (see screenshot below for available options).

It’s important to note that you should always install the drivers that are strictly compatible with your OS version, and failing to do so can potentially cause fatal and irreparable damage to the device, so check your OS version beforehand.
